Mystery Of Malini Poornima

Menkurem village gifted as an nature beauty. The Main Deity of our village Shri Devi Mauli and the great mystery depends upon Devi Mauli at the time of Malini Poornima. All devotees of Devi Mauli assemble in Mauli temple and sharp at 12.00am Devi Mauli with her devotees goes to her "Maherghar" called as Devachi Bai(well of God)in Palki.

When palki reach exactly on place called 'chavathyar' .

The palki itself become so heavy, mystery actually starts from here don't you think so, why? On that place only palki becomes heavy.

Information provided by my grandfather that there is a evil called as "Nirankar " he stop Devi Mauli when she is going to her Maherghar but he is unsuccessful doing this because infront of palki there is Nitkari he is in God avatar . He clear the way of palki from Nirankar and move forward. These what I am writing is not an superstitious  its a fact.

When Devi reach to her Maherghar at the time of malini poornima(Jattra) Mauli Devi stayed at that place for an one day. These poonvachi jattra is specially for most of the married women's they usually come and worship Devi Mauli with voti. on that day there is a drama (Natak)take place. And on other day Devi Mauli come back to temple. With palki again without becoming heavy at the chavatha' place again.
