Barazan Tree

Barazan tree is a tree God. Barazan tree is exactly there in the middle of madhala wada in the Menkurem village. Every Monday the villagers come to worship the barazan  tree and light the lamb , it is said that the tree is a symbol of God. There is a custom that every year the villagers on the specific day keep bhat jevovni as occasion. At the time of Holi the Menkurem villagers do Bhajan/Arti under this tree. The great mystery is that in olden times there used to be the performances of drama(natak) under this tree,one day it so happened that there was a pooja of lord satyanarayan and at night there was a the performances of drama and people were sitting and watching the drama. When the drama was going on the branch of that particular tree started making noise and these shows,that was a signal to the people sitting over there to make them aware that something bad will going to take place. After listening to the cracking sound of the branch people started running to their houses but there was one smallgirl sleeping .while the people were watching  drama, and it so happened that the people as well as the parents of that child got panic in the hurry they forget their child over there only and that branch of a tree fell on that girl and she died on the spot,sinces then drama performances doesn't take place there. All these information has been provided by our ancestors.
